Multi-Language Support

LegalBanner can display your consent banner in your visitors' preferred language.

How It Works

1. When the banner loads, it detects the visitor's language from the browser's Accept-Language header 2. If a translation is available for that language, the banner displays in it 3. If not, it falls back to your default language (usually English)

Supported Languages

LegalBanner supports translations for:

  • English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Czech, Greek, Turkish, Arabic, Hebrew, and more

RTL Support

For right-to-left languages like Arabic and Hebrew, the banner automatically:

  • Mirrors the layout direction
  • Adjusts text alignment
  • Flips UI elements appropriately

Setting Up Languages

1. Go to your site's Banner settings 2. In the language section, add the languages you want to support 3. Customize the banner text for each language if needed 4. The SDK handles language detection and switching automatically

Policy Documents

Your legal documents can also be generated in multiple languages. The wizard answers are shared across languages, but you can customize the text for each locale independently.
