Organization Setup

Every LegalBanner account belongs to an organization. The organization is the top-level entity that owns all your sites, clients, templates, and team members.

Creating Your Organization

When you sign up for LegalBanner, you are prompted to create an organization. You need to provide:
  • Organization name - your company or agency name
  • Slug - a URL-friendly identifier (auto-generated from the name, editable)

Organization Settings

Go to Org Settings in the sidebar to manage:
  • Name and slug - update your organization's display name
  • Default timezone - used for reporting and scheduled scans
  • Logo - upload your organization's logo (shown in the dashboard header)

Inviting Team Members

Go to Team in the sidebar to invite colleagues: 1. Click Invite member 2. Enter their email address 3. Select a role: Owner, Admin, Editor, or Viewer 4. They receive an email invitation with a magic link to join See Team Members and Roles for detailed role permissions.

Switching Organizations

If you belong to multiple organizations, use the organization switcher in the top-left corner of the dashboard. Your active organization determines which sites, clients, and settings you see.

Deleting an Organization

Only the organization owner can delete it. Go to Org Settings and scroll to the danger zone. Deleting an organization permanently removes all sites, consent logs, templates, and team members. This action cannot be undone.
